It is my pleasure to introduce Örebro University (Sweden) to PEP-net. I would like to use our first blog post to briefly introduce you to some of eParticipation researchers and activities at our school.
Our young Örebro University has a broad spectrum of research in democracy—our slogan is “the democratic university.” When it comes to eDemocracy and the related fields of eGovernment and ICT4D (ICT for development), the Department of Informatics in the Swedish Business School plays a leading role in global networks. We work together with other disciplines such as political science, media and communication and public administration and have been involved in numerous related EU, national, local and business projects.
