Will you select all books from europeana or only a selection? Or will you make a local selection ? What will be the public for this library: Birmingham inhabitants or people who have lived in Birmingham or people interested in a specific subject linked to Birmingham?

So, there is a model in Second Life and people will be invited to look at it. But that’s still sending. What’s the participation aspect?

Thanks for the thoughtful and positive article John. I think that the Library of Birmingham team deserve some praise for committing to building the virtual model, and also for the foresight to know that they needed to actively encourage its use rather than taking the “build it and they will come” approach.
