Facebook helps knitting the net

As most of you know the website facebook is a so called social network site. It helps to stay in contact with people you know, to find new people who are interested in the same topics as you are or to collaborate within virtual groups. But is facebook already used by those who are interested in eParticpation and who are generally believing that ICT could help to improve democracy?
